His opponent is Oleksandr Usyk, Unified Heavyweight champion and unbeaten former Undisputed Cruiserweight champion. Lennox Lewis was the last Undisputed Heavyweight champion, though he did not hold the WBO title.

Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk will take place on Saturday 18 May 2024 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was initially mooted for 23 December 2023, but Tyson Fury’s worrying showing against Francis Ngannou delayed the bout from happening earlier. Fury defeated Ngannou, although some fans believe Francis Ngannou had done enough to secure victory.

Rest of the card

The vacant IBF Cruiserweight title is on the line as former champion Jai Opetaia challenges Mairis Breidis to win back his championship. Tyson Fury’s training partner Isaac Lowe appears on the bill, as does rising unbeaten heavyweight Moses Itauma. Russian Cruiserweight Sergey Kovalev appears on the undercard and competes for just the second time since 2019.
