Last week we had three live cards across the weekend. Natasha Jonas edged out Mikaela Mayer in the main event of Boxxer’s Sky Sports show. Jonas retained her IBF Welterweight title via Split Decision, with the scoring in Jonas’ favour causing some controversy amongst boxing fans.

Misfits X Series 012 took place on the same night, with Elle Brooke crowned Misfits champion and Ed Matthews soundly beaten by his mystery opponent, Luis Pineda. ProBox TV also returned on Wednesday for their first live card of 2024.

Kenshiro Teraji vs Carlos Canizales

Ukranian Dalakian has held the belt since 2018 and remains undefeated, last winning at Wembley Arena last year. Lewis Crocker vs Jose Felix

Matchroom return to the UK for the first time in 2024 as they revisit Northern Ireland to present Crocker vs Felix. Matchroom held a show as recently as November in Northern Ireland, where Michael Conlan was surprisingly defeated by Jordan Gill.

Lewis Crocker main events in his hometown against Jose Felix. Felix scored a huge underdog TKO victory over Gary Cully on the Taylor vs Cameron card and is competing for the first time since then. Crocker enters 18-0 unbeaten and heavy favourite, but Felix has the punching power to cause an upset.

Jaime Munguia vs John Ryder

The third and final card of the weekend comes from America as unbeaten Jaime Munguia challenges John Ryder. Munguia is coming off our Fight of the Year in 2023, when he narrowly defeated Sergey Derevyanchenko by scoring a knockdown in the final round.

John Ryder is coming off a respectable loss to Saul Canelo Alvarez. Ryder was thoroughly outclassed against Canelo but drew plaudits for his willingness to trade and make the bout interesting. Canelo won by 13 rounds and 9 rounds (x2) but John Ryder proved a more entertaining opponent than Jermell Charlo.
