Kaisy Khademi vs Jackson Chauke Start Time and Undercard

Neilson Boxing return to York Hall this weekend to present Kaisy Khademi vs Jackson Chauke for the vacant IBO World Flyweight title. The actions takes place on Saturday in London with the card being aired live exclusively on YouTube.

Kaisy Khademi (10-1-2) is aiming to become the first Afghanistan born world champion. The blemishes on his record come from a trilogy against Ijaz Ahmed where he picked up two draws and a loss. Since the trilogy Khademi picked up two consecutive stoppage victories at York Hall, and will be aiming for a third at the weekend.

Khademi faces the more experienced South African Jackson Chauke (23-2-2). Chauke is a bit of a mystery having spent his entire career fighting in South Africa. Chauke has previously picked up the WBO Global and WBC International championships, but has also lost to fighters with less than stellar records. Chauke lost a Split Decision in 2022 to Phumelele Cafu (7-0-3).

The undercard features of a bill of prospects and young upstarts. Daniel Khan boasts the best record on paper at 11-0, and unbeaten Laura Pain is hoping to move to 5-0 in the women’s division. Alfie Gaskin (3-1) vs Genadij Krajevskij (0-64) is unmissable for fans of big upsets.

Khademi vs Chauke takes place on Saturday 27 January 2024.
