Amanda Serrano Turns Down Raven Chapman as next Challenge

Amanda Serrano has turned down the opportunity to face Raven Chapman has her next opponent.

In a busy day for Amanda Serrano, she first vacated her WBC Featherweight title citing issues with the WBC.

Serrano then took to social media where she was inundated with messages from various boxers and followers. The trainer of Raven Chapman, Stuart Scott, took to social media to offer Amanda Serrano a bout.

Stuart Scott suggested to Amanda Serrano that she face British boxer and Queensberry promoted Raven Chapman next in 12×3 minutes rounds.

Scott went further to suggest that the bout could be the first ever women’s bout to appear in Saudi Arabia, and that it could feature on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk next February.

Amanda Serrano responded via social media. Serrano declined the bout in the immediate future, indicating her promoters MVP will have an announcement on her future shortly.

Raven Chapman beat Lucie Sedlackova last weekend to retain her WBC International Featherweight title on the undercard of Gavin Gwynne vs Emiliano Marsili. Her next contest is unknown.

Chapman has not been included in the bout for the vacant WBC Featherweight title, and she’s not fighting Amanda Serrano.
