Matchroom Boxing have announced further bouts to their upcoming card in Ireland featuring Cameron vs Taylor 2. Chantelle Cameron vs Katie Taylor 2 takes place from the 3Arena in Dublin Ireland, with Paddy Donovan vs Danny Ball, and Gary Cully vs Reece Mould among the bouts already announced.
Zelfa Barrett (29-2) had been added onto the undercard for the event. Barrett last fought in April 2023 on the undercard of Joe Cordina when he defeated Jason Sanchez via Unanimous Decision. Boxing Scene have now reported that Romanian Costin Ion (10-4-2) has been named as the opponent. Ion fought on the undercard of Lara vs Wood 2 where he was defeated by Aqib Fiaz over 8 rounds, although he knocked Fiaz down in the sixth round and dominated the remainder of the bout.
The undercard for Cameron vs Taylor 2 has almost been completed. Skye Nicolson defends her newly won WBA Interim Featherweight title against world championship contender Lucy Wildheart. John Coonie is facing off against Liam Gaynor for the vacant BBBofC Celtic Super Featherweight title, and Emmet Brennan vs Jamie Morrissey is for the Boxing Union of Ireland Celtic Light Heavyweight championship.
Both Giorgio Visioli and Thomas Carty are announced for the card, with opponents to be confirmed.
