Most Valuable Prospects returns on 26 April with two unbeaten Super Welterweights contesting the main event. Yoenis Tellez vs Joseph Jackson will fight for the WBA Super Welterweight Continental championship in Orlando Florida in the main event of Most Valuable Prospects VI.

Yoenis Tellez vs Joseph Jackson
Yoenis Tellez (7-0) is a highly rated Cuban boxer who scored 4 victories across 2024. Tellez turned professional in 2020 but struggled for activity early in his career, competing in just two bouts until November 2022. Tellez has been more active since then and his 2023 includes 3 stoppage victories and a move up to 10 round bouts.
American Joseph Jackson (19-0) turned professional in 2015 and remains unbeaten 9 years later. Jackson hasn’t fought the same level of opposition though, and many of Jackson’s victories have been against lesser opposition. Jackson’s biggest win to date was over Derrick Colemon Jr., in February 2020. Jackson fought once in 2023 where he picked up a TKO victory over Dedrick Bell.
Jackson does carry considerable KO power. 15 of Jackson’s 19 victories have come inside the distance, and he faces Tellez having secured stoppages in his last 3 contests.
Benigno Ahuilar (11-0-1) vs Alexander Rios (8-1) are set for a rematch as the Chief Support. Rios was victorious in the first contest back in October last year via Split Decision.
