Top Tier Boxing return to Brentwood for their second card of 2024. Constantin Ursu vs Basi Razaq headlines the Discipline card which includes two championship bouts.
Johnny Clark’s Top Tier Boxing are continuing to build from their debutant year in 2023. The Discipline card will be the sixth in Top Tier’s young history. The promotion previously held Grant Dennis vs James Osborne in February, as well as cards headlined by Constantin Ursu and Levi Giles in 2023.
Constantin Ursu vs Basi Razaq
Unbeaten Moldovan-born Welterweight Constantin Ursu (9-0) returns for another headline slot with Top Tier Boxing. Ursu previously main-evented a card in December against Jordan Dujon, winning via RTD in round 8. Ursu retains his headliner status facing off against Basi Razaq (9-3-1) over 10 rounds.
Ursu already held the Southern Area Welterweight championship and will be defending his Silver Commonwealth Welterweight title. Ursu may also have eyes on the English title bout between Eithan James and Owen Cooper.
Basi Razaq fought just once in 2023, where he lost a 10 round decision to unbeaten Callum Blockley. Razaq is seeking more activity though and will compete prior to facing Ursu. Razaq is scheduled for a four round contest against Nathan Darby (0-2) just 3 weeks before taking on Constantin Ursu.
Amy Andrew vs Linzi Buczynskyj
Unbeaten Featherweight Amy Andrew (6-0) will challenge for her first championship when she faces Linzi Buczynskyj (5-3-1). The pair will contest the vacant Commonwealth Featherweight championship.
Amy Andrew is coming off a tight Points Decision over respected journeywoman Vaida Masiokaite. Andrew has won all of her 6 contests via Points Decision and faces opposition with a winning record for the first time. This will also be Andrew’s first ten round bout.
Linzi Buczynskyj is coming off an unsuccessful 2023 where she was defeated twice. Buczynskyj was outclassed by Olympian Karriss Artingstall and then lost another 6 round contest to Kirsty Hill. She bounced back with a victory in February over Victoria Perkins.
Linzi Buczynskyj has previously fought in two 10 round contests, winning one and losing another.
Rest of the Ursu Razaq Card
Stelios Papadopoulos (15-0-2) vs Ben Crocker (12-0) is a standout fight on the undercard. Both fighters enter unbeaten in the Super Lightweight division meeting in an 8 round bout.
Louise Orton (2-0) vs Amy Greatorex (1-5) sees the unbeaten Orton against recent Area title challenger Greatorex.
Every A-side fighter enters undefeated.
