Teofimo Lopez (20-1) is looking to defend his WBO crown for the second time, having captured the belt back in 2023 against Josh Taylor. Lopez picked up a tight Unanimous Decision victory over Jamaine Ortiz back in February this year, winning by 2 rounds on 2 of the scorecards.
Steve Claggett (38-7-2) is a Canadian Super Lightweight stepping up to World title level for the first time. Claggett is on a 9-fight winstreak dating back to 2021 and recently held the NABF and WBO International Super Lightweight crowns.
Robeisy Ramirez vs Brandon Leon Benitez
Former WBO Featherweight champion Robeisy Ramirez (13-2) returns to the ring for the first time in 2024. Ramirez lost his WBO title via Majority Decision last December to unbeaten Rafael Espinoza.
Mexican Brandon Leon Benitez (21-2) will face Ramirez, and is unbeaten since 2019 when he lost to Saul Sanchez.
