Solomon Dacres vs David Adeleye set for York Hall in April

Solomon Dacres vs David Adeleye looks set for April after being moved from the Magnificent Seven show this week. The York Hall show will be Queensberry’s fourth UK show of 2024, following on from Sheeraz vs Williams, Heaney vs Pauls and Bourke vs Lane.

Queensberry promotions are yet to formally announce the show, but tickets are currently available through Ticketmaster. Few details about the show have been confirmed but Sam Noakes is listed as the headliner for the event.

Sam Noakes (13-0) is coming off a fourth round TKO of Lewis Sylvester on the undercard of Hamzah Sheeraz vs Liam Williams in February. Noakes now holds four different championships; British, Commonwealth, WBC International Silver and WBO International Lightweight titles. His opponent is TBA, but he will be defending at least some of his titles.

Solomon Dacres vs David Adeleye for the English Heavyweight championship also looks set for the card. The fight had been set for the Magnificent Seven show this weekend, but was quietly removed from the card.

English Heavyweight champion Solomon Dacres (8-0) spoke during the Magnificent Seven weigh-ins. He stated his fight with David Adeleye (12-1) had been moved to 20th April in London due to Adeleye requiring more time. David Adeleye wasn’t present and is yet to respond to the accusation he required more time to train.

No further announcements have been made. Queensberry have a show this weekend and a further show next Friday. Further announcements are expected after Bourke vs Lane next Friday.
