MCGREGOR VS LOWE : LIVE ON FRIDAY 01 DECEMBER 2023
Wasserman Boxing have announced their latest boxing card to appear on Channel 5. Airing on Friday 01 December 2023 from Bolton, Lee McGregor faces off against Isaac Lowe. This follows on from the upcoming Eubank vs Schwarzkopf, airing on Channel 5 on 10 November 2023. Read more on that card below
McGregor last fought in July 2023 when he unsuccessfully challenged Erik Robles Ayala for the IBO World Bantamweight Championship, losing a narrow points decision. That fight was also broadcast on Channel 5 as the main event. McGregor picked up his first defeat that night and is now 12-1-1.
Isaac Lowe fought on the undercard of McGregor vs Ayala, picking up a TKO victory over Erik Robles Ayala. Lowe has won his last two bouts, but he hasn’t fought anyone competitive since losing being stopped against both Luis Alberto Lopez and Nick Ball in back-to-back losses. Lopez holds the IBF Featherweight crown, and Nick Ball is in an eliminator against Isaac Dogboe for the WBC Featherweight title, so Lowe’s defeats have come against highly ranked fighters.
Lowe is 21-2-3 having also picked up 2 Split Draws in British title fights as well as a Technical Draw from a clash of heads.
