Live boxing returns to the UK this week with two major shows; Jonas vs Mayer and Misfits X Series 012. Both shows take place this weekend clashing on Saturday night. There’s a further show on Wednesday night from ProBox TV available on YouTube.
Live boxing this week brings us action from the UK and America with three different cards. Last week we saw Top Rank present 2 world title bouts with Beterbiev vs Smith and Moloney vs Sanchez, and we also had Rising Starts Arabia in Abu Dhabi.
This week we have the first cards from three different promotions in 2024. Live boxing this week begins with ProBox TV’s first show on Wednesday night, or early Thursday morning in the UK.
Saturday night we have a clash of cards with boxing in the UK. Boxxer present their first show of 2024 on Sky Sports with Jonas vs Mayer, whiilst Misfits Boxing return to DAZN with X Series 012.
Luis Feliciano vs Mykquan Williams
Earlier in the week, there’s an additional card on Wednesday from ProBox TV. ProBox TV is an American outlet featuring good quality boxing for free on YouTube. Their first edition of 2024 features 5 bouts, including 4 unbeaten boxers.
In the main event Luis Feliciano vs Mykquan Williams is scheduled for 10 rounds in the Super Lightweight division. Unbeaten Feliciano (19-0) faces unbeaten Williams (19-0-2) in a pick ’em fight.
Rojas (12-0) vs Baez (19-3) featuring in the Welterweight division, and there’s further 4, 6 and 8 round bouts lower down the card.

Jonas vs Mayer
Professional boxing is being held in Liverpool as Natasha Jonas vs Mikaela Mayer headlines Boxxer’s show in Sky Sports. Jonas vs Mayer is being contested for the IBF Super Welterweight title currently held by Jonas, who is defending in her hometown.
Boxxer’s show on Sky Sports is their first of 2024, with Buatsi vs Azeez announced next month. Boxxer have a third unannounced show in Wolverhampton on 24 February 2024 featuring a Tyler Denny world title defence.
Boxxer’s first show of the year includes further title bouts on the undercard. Jack Cullen vs Zack Chelli contest British and Commonwealth titles in a rematch. Mark Jeffers also defends his English title against Germaine Brown. The fourth and final title bout sees Aaron McKenna vs Linus Udofia for the WBC International title.
Boxxer’s show takes place live on Sky Sports from 7:00 p.m in the UK. Coverage is available in the USA via Peacock from 2:00 p.m EST / 1:00 p.m CST.
Misfits X Series 012
In the world of non-professional boxing, Misfits Boxing returns with X Series 012. The show takes place live from Leeds and airs on DAZN.
X Series 012 has been mired in controversy in the lead-up to the event. The Professional Boxing Association which approves the contest suspended Misfits Boxing, leading to Misfits ending their relationship with the PBA. A new governing body is needed for the show to proceed on Saturday.

Looking at the card, it has the usual mix of X Series fun. Ed Matthews is due to face A Mystery Opponent, which always adds a bit of intrigue to the show. AJ Bunker vs Elle Brooke 2 for the Misfits Boxing Middleweight title in a rematch.
Chase Demoor vs Minikon was also recently added to the bill, and Joey Knight vs Most Wanted features on the undercard.
