Kurt Walker vs James Beech Jr Preview and Undercard

Boxing returns to Ulsterhall this weekend with Kurt Walker vs James Beech Jr featuring in the main event. The Breakout also features the Irish Super Bantamweight championship on the line as well as a number of unbearen prospects.

Kurt Walker vs James Beech Jr

Kurt Walker (10-0) enters as a heavy favourite for his bout against James Beech Jr (16-5). The Irishman enters with a perfect record and steps up to 10 rounds for the first time.

Kurt Walker secured a victory over Darwing Martinez on the last show at Ulsterhall earlier this year. Walker racked up 4 Points victories in 2023 across 6 and 8 round bouts.

James Beech Jr enters with more experience than his opponent. Beech previously held the IBO Continental Featherweight crown after beating Raza Hamza via Unanimous Decision.

2023 wasn’t a good year for Beech Jr. Beech lost via TKO to Liam Davies and followed that up with an RTD loss to Hopey Price. He fought at the end of 2023 and picked up a 4 round Points victory over journeyman Liam Richards.

Kurt Walker is expected to be the heavy favourite for the bout.
