British Heavyweight Boxer Dave Allen will compete for the first time in 2024. Allen is scheduled to fight on Fightzone’s Sheffield show on 6th April 2024.
31-year old Dave Allen (21-6-2) has discussed retirement on numerous occasions but returns to the ring once again. Allen has previously challenged top Heavyweight contenders including Luis Ortiz and Dillian Whyte, but has emerged unsuccessful at the highest level.
The White Rhino is coming off a defeat to Frazer Clarke in 2023. Allen pushed Clarke further than his previous opposition but ultimately retired in round 6 to a perforated eardrum. His next opponent remains TBA and is likely to be lower-end opposition rather than a live opponent.
Dave Allen has recently turned his attentions to coaching rather than fighting. Allen acted as the cornerman for several fighters at GBM Sports show in Sheffield including Stevi Levy, whom he led to a Silver European championship win.
