The Misfits Boxing Lightweight champion Anthony Taylor had been due to defend his championship but a weight dispute between Taylor and Silva has scuppered the bout.
Pretty Boy Taylor posted a 90 second video to social media explaining the fight had been cancelled after failing to agree a rehydration clause at 180 lbs. He also took aim at Gabriel Silva, remarking:
“The fight is not happening. The reason is Gabriel Silva is a coward and he pulled out”.
“Fuck you bro, fuck you. I’m the champion”.
Misfits Boxing honcho Mams Taylor has commented on social media, indicated the reason for the cancellation stems from Gabriel Silva.

He is 1000% not to blame and did absolutely nothing wrong here. I’ll leave it at that.
Anthony Taylor has now set his sights on fighting famed MMA fighter and occasional boxer Anderson Silva.
Misfits X Series is set to take place next month in Nashville airing live on DAZN. Anthony Taylor vs Gabriel Silva had been set to be a featured bout but it remains to be seen if either appear on the show.
