Dalton Smith was named as mandatory challenger for Adam Azim’s EBU European Lightweight championship earlier this month. Purse bids have already been arranged, but now the British Lightweight title has been added to the mix.

Adam Azim retained his EBU Super Lightweight championship with victory over Enock Poulsen on the Buatsi vs Azeez undercard. Azim picked up the victory via KO in round 5 after Poulsen suffered a shoulder injury. It was Azim’s first championship defence after he captured the belt against Franck Petitjean in November 2023.
