KSI vs Tommy Fury Result Changed Due To Judge Error

KSI vs Tommy Fury was the main event of DAZN’s PPV Misfits The Prime Card, held in Manchester in 14 October 2023. Tommy Fury emerged victorious in the 6 round main event against KSI, but controversy soon emerged when the scorecards were published on social media. Whilst many fans of KSI were demanding an appeal, others eyes were drawn to the third scorecard, which was totalled incorrectly. Each judge gave KSI 2 rounds, and Tommy Fury 4 rounds, with Tommy losing a point due to a point deduction for rabbit punching. That left all three scorecards on 57-56, but the result was incorrectly announced to the arena as a Majority Decision, with the third judge scoring it a draw.

It has now been confirmed that the result will be changed, and Tommy Fury’s victory will change from a Majority Decision to a Unanimous Decision. The decision has now been changed on Boxrec.com, as you can see via the links below:

It remains to be seen whether the result will be appealed, although DAZN’s Joe Markowski has requested an appeal, and Misfits’ Mams Taylor said KSI won the bout.
