Joshua Buatsi vs Dan Azeez headlined boxing at the OVO Wembley arena live on Sky Sports. The Boxxer promoted show featured Buatsi vs Azeez in a WBA Eliminator as well as the British and Commonwealth Light Heavyweight titles at stake.
The undercard included Adam Azim vs Enock Poulsen for the European title and Caroline Dubois vs Miranda Reyes for the IBO world title.

Joshua Buatsi vs Dan Azeez
The main event of Boxxer’s Wembley arena show was a domestic Light Heavyweight clash between unbeaten Joshua Buatsi and Dan Azeez. Buatsi started strongly showed his Olympic pedigree and taking the opening rounds. Azeez was proving competitive but losing rounds against his friend and former sparring partner.
Dan Azeez picked up a couple of rounds before entering the Championship rounds. He suffered two dubious knockdowns as he slipped on the ring canvas, and looked set to be stopped in the final round. Joshua Buatsi backed off with his opponent ready to be taken out, and the bout went to the scorecards. The Joshua Buatsi vs Dan Azeez result was never in question, and the bookmakers favourite Buatsi emerged the clear winner.
Joshua Buatsi now holds the British and Commonwealth titles, and Buatsi is entitled to fight for the WBA World Light Heavyweight championship at a later date. The current champion is Dmitry Bivol, who faces Artur Beterbiev next.
Adam Azim vs Enock Poulsen
Adam Azim successfully defended his European title against Enock Poulsen. The bout was competitive but Azim was racking up points against a game challenger. Poulsen dislocated his shoulder in the fifth round, and took a knee as he was in no position to continue. Although Azim was in control, the bout was marred by the injury and Poulsen was proving a little trickier than expected.
Caroline Dubois vs Miranda Reyes
Complete one-way traffic from the IBO champion ‘Sweet’ Caroline Dubois. Dubois won every round on every judges scorecard, and will target one of the major championships in the Lightweight division.
