Jessica McCaskill vs Lauren Price
Olympic gold medallist Lauren Price (6-0) will be competing in her home country of Wales for the first time as she challenges Jessica McCaskill (12-3-1). Price has won every round in her professional career so far, capturing the first ever British Women’s Welterweight championship when she defeated Kirstie Bavington.
Jessica McCaskill is coming off a controversial Split Draw to Sandy Ryan which enabled her to keep her championships. McCaskill also lost to Chantelle Cameron prior to facing Sandy Ryan, with her last victory coming over Alma Ibarra in 2022.
Jessica McCaskill is a former two-weight World champion and former Undisputed World Welterweight champion. McCaskill captured her first world championship in 2018 before going on to unify the Super Lightweight division and move up in weight.
After moving up in weight McCaskill defeated Cecilia Braekhus twice in 2020 and 2021 to win the Undisputed World Welterweight title. McCaskill still holds the World Welterweight title but has now relinquished her IBF, WBO and WBC championships.
Lauren Price will enter as the heavy favourite against Jessica McCaskill.
