Hughie Fury added to Boxxer Wales show

Hughie Fury will compete on the undercard of Jessica McCaskill vs Lauren Price next month in Cardiff. Fists of Fury returned following 30 months of inactivity earlier this month on GBM Sports show at Magna.

British Heavyweight Hughie Fury (27-3) will continue his comeback as he competes in Wales next month. Fury picked up a dominant Points Decision victory earlier this month against Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko over 6 rounds, rarely looking troubled and simply outclassing his Ukrainian opponent.

The former WBO World Heavyweight title challenger Hughie Fury is seeking activity as he returns to the ring following 30 months of inactivity. Prior to competing earlier this month, Fury’s last contest stretches back to a win over Christian Hammer in October 2021. At the height of his career Hughie Fury challenged for the World title in 2017, losing to Joseph Parker via Majority Decision.

Hughie Fury will be competing just three weeks after his bout against Dovbyshchenko. Opposition is TBA but Fury is likely to face lower-tier opposition as he continues his return. The number of rounds has also yet to be confirmed.

The rest of the undercard includes Rhys Edwards vs Thomas Patrick Ward. English champion Mark Jeffers and Moses Jolly will also appear on the card and are awaiting opposition.
