Jack Massey Targets March Return Following Eloundou Ntere Victory

British Cruiserweight Jack Massey returned to action last weekend when he defeated Steve Eloundou Ntere on the undercard of Jonas vs Mayer. The former IBO World Cruiserweight champion made short work of Belgian Eloundou, defeating him halfway into round 1 as the ref waved off the contest.

Following Massey’s stoppage victory, he called for further activity in March or April of this year. Massey had previously spent 364 days inactive before his fight against Eloundou. Massey moved up to Heavyweight in a losing effort against Joseph Parker, but didn’t fight again after January for the rest of 2023.

Jack Massey also targeted a big bout towards the end of the year. He spoke of having eyes on the winner of Chris Billam-Smith vs Richard Riakporhe for the WBO World Cruiserweight title. There’s also defeated British Cruiserweights Lawrence Okolie, Jordan Thompson and Ellis Zorro, none of whom have announced bouts.

‘One Smack’ Jack Massey is now thirty years old and holds a 21-2 record, with defeats to Richard Riakporhe for the British title and Joseph Parker. He’s held IBO World and IBF European Cruiserweight titles, though he vacated both without defending them.
