Dillian Whyte vs Christian Hammer headlines a show at the TF Hotel in Castlebar, Ireland on Sunday night. The card Once Upon a Time in the West includes a further Heavyweight bout with Thomas Carty in action, and Gary O’Sullivan is set to compete as well. Dillian Whyte (29-3) competes for the first time since his bout with Joshua was postponed. Whyte failed an anti-doping test but has recently been cleared to fight, and returns to the ring in quick fashion.
This will be Whyte’s first fight since defeating Jermaine Franklin in November 2022. Whyte faces Christian Hammer (27-10), who has been inactive even longer. Hammer hasn’t since losing to Joe Joyce in July 2022.
The Dillian Whyte vs Christian Hammer undercard is also pretty stacked. Unbeaten Irish Heavyweight Thomas Carty (7-0) competes against journeyman Pavel Sour (19-19).
Gary O’Sullivan (31-5) returns for the first time since losing to Erislandy Lara in 2022 for the World title.
Ray Moylette (13-2-1) vs Jake Tinklin (11-2) looks a solid 50/50 on paper. The pair compete across 10 rounds in the Super Lightweight division.
Sedem Ama (2-0) faces journeywoman Ester Konecna (4-26). Konecna picked up a dominant win last weekend which you can read here.
