David Jamieson to feature on Kynoch Boxing show

David Jamieson will compete for the first time in 2024 for Kynoch Boxing at Crunch Time 2.0 on Friday 19 April 2024.

David Jamieson (10-3) will compete in a 6 round contest at Heavyweight against Kaseem Saleem (6-1). Jamieson has fought at both Cruiser and Heavyweight, with his last Heavyweight bout taking place in 2022 vs Jake Darnell. His opponent Saleem has one loss to Jay McFarlane for the Scottish Heavyweight title.

Jamieson last competed against Chev C4 Clarke at Wembley Arena, where he lost via TKO in round 5. Jamieson suffered two knockdowns before the stoppage and lost the Final Eliminator for the British Cruiserweight title.

Jamieson’s two other career defeats both came against Mikael Lawal, the former British Cruiserweight champion. He lost a 3 round fight in a Prizefighter-style tournament in 2019, and retired in round 8 of their 2022 bout with a damaged jaw.

Chris Liddell vs Paul Roberts for the Commonwealth Silver Light Flyweight title is also set for the Kynoch Boxing show. Colin Cairney, John Casey, Lennon Mulligan and Billy Neill also compete.
