Anees Taj fighting later this month after 3 consecutive losses

British Cruiserweight Anees Taj is set to fight at the Harrow Leisure Centre in April on a show promoted by Mark Prior.

Anees Taj (7-5) previously fought Viddal Riley twice in 2023, with both bouts taking place on Boxxer shows and airing on Sky Sports. Taj lost the first bout via TKO after the fight was stopped by the ringside doctor.

Taj had a second fight against Viddal Riley but it resulted in another fourth round TKO loss, this time after his corner threw in the towel.

Taj looked to bounce back in February 2024 when he faced Polish Cruiserweight Krzysztof Stawiarski (2-7), but lost the 6 round contest via a Points Decision. Taj contested the decision via his social media and stated a complaint had been made to the BBBofC.

Anees Taj will be in action on 21 April with the opponent TBA. The unbeaten Bakaj brothers, Roberto and Amarildo will also compete on the show at the top of the card.
