On Saturday 09 December 2023 live from the Brentwood Centre, Constantin Ursu (8-0) faces off against Jordan Dujon (9-2) for the Commonwealth Welterweight Silver championship. There’s also a further two Silver Commonwealth titles up for grabs on the undercard.
Ursu vs Dujon is being promoted by Top Tier boxing, and being broadcast via TV and streaming services.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN THE BUILD-UP TO URSU VS DUJON?
Ursu vs Dujon was originally scheduled for the 02 September 2023, but Jordan Dujon pulled out on the day of the weigh-in.
Constantin Ursu faced the boxing media outlets after Dujon pulled out and accused Dujon of being a coward for pulling out of the initial bout. Ursu said he doesn’t give a fuck about Dujon, and that Dujon is levels below him. Ursu hopes to challenge for a world title in the coming years.

Ursu will be considered the favourite entering the bout, particularly given Dujon pulled out so close to fight night the first time.

Jordan Purkiss was originally due to face Louis Smithson, followed by Nabil Ahmed. Ahmed ended up competing last weekend, picking up a shock victory on the Wasserman Boxing undercard.
