Golden Boy Promotions have announced the undercard for their upcoming Goulamirian vs Ramirez show. Alexis Rocha vs Fredrick Lawson will feature as the Chief Support for the card on 30 March 2024.
26-year-old Alexis Rocha (23-2) is coming off a defeat to Giovani Santillan last October where he also lost his WBO NABO championship. Rocha had successfully defended his title three times prior to the Santillan loss. He will enter the heavy favourite against Fredrick Lawson.
Fredrick Lawson (30-4) is coming off a poor performance against Vergil Ortiz Jr in January. The main event between Ortiz and Lawson lasted a little over a minute and the fight was waved off. The aftermath of the fight included an unusual, unverified claim from the referee that Fredrick Lawson had failed a pre-fight medical, although no evidence was presented in support of this.
Ricardo Sandoval vs Luis Hernandez has also been announced for the show.
