Sam Goodman vs Mark Schleibs headlines the show.
Sam Goodman (17-0) has held his WBO championship since 2021 when he defeated Richie Mepranum in Sydney via TKO.
Goodman had an active 2023 where he picked up four victories on points, including inflicting first defeats to Zhong Liu and Ra’eese Aleem. 2023 was the first time Goodman fought 4 times in a year.
Mark Schleibs (13-2) return from a 30 months hiatus only to lose via TKO to Rocky Ogden in round 1. Schleibs did fight in November where he defeated Shamal Ram Anuj via KO, recording his first victory since 2019.
Schleibs doesn’t have as credible a record as Goodman, but he has scored more knockouts. 9 of Schleibs’ 13 victories have come via stoppage, whereas Goodman 10 of Goodman’s 17 bouts have gone the full distance.
Isaac Hardman vs Endry Saavedra
Hardman and Saavedra will contest the WBO Inter-Continental Middleweight championship.
Isaac Headsplitter Hardman (15-2) started off 2023 in a disappointing fashion, losing a narrow Split Decision to Rohan Murdock. Hardman bounced back with two victories, including defeating Troy Coleman to capture his WBO championship.
Venezuelan Endry Saavedra (15-1) responded to his first defeat in 2022 with two TKO victories last year. The fighter has never fought outside of his adopted home in Mexico, and fights on away soil for the first time.
