Wasserman Boxing have added British boxers Matty Harris and Dan Toward to their upcoming show on 01 March 2024. The show features Abass Baraou vs Sam Eggington for the EBU European title in the main event.
Dan Toward was signed by Wasserman Boxing last year and debuted in the latter half of 2023. He appeared twice on the undercard of Nathan Gorman and Josh Kelly’s shows, picking up a TKO followed by a 6 round points victory.
Matty Harris is a British heavyweight who suffered defeat in his last contest. Harris faced off against Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko, dominating the opening rounds and scoring knockdown. Matty Harris’ stamina seemed to vanish as he gassed quickly the opening rounds. Dovbyshchenko took hold of the bout and scored a TKO in the final seconds of round 5.
Matty Harris and Dan Toward are the only names currently added to the Baraou vs Eggington card. \both fighters next opponents are yet to be named.
