GBM Sports take head down south to present London Calling. The York Hall show will feature a main event of Benjamin vs Ballingall, as well as a Female British Super Bantamweight title bout. Former World champion Tevin Farmer and Brazilian Heavyweight Igor Macedo also compete on the GBM Sports London Calling bill.
Ballingall vs Benjamin
Lucas Ballingall vs Kaisee Benjamin headlines London Calling. Kaisee Benjamin (18-3-1) looks to bounce from his back-to-back defeats against Dalton Smith and Sean McComb. Benjamin has picked up two wins in 6-rounders since then, the last taking place on a Wasserman Boxing undercard in March, but against lower tier opposition.
Portsmouth’s Lucas Ballingall (17-2) is the former English Super Lightweight champion, but has vacated his title since his last bout. Ballingall defeated Billy Pickles via TKO in July of last year, but remained inactive since.
Rest of the Card
Tysie Gallagher vs Stevi Levy will have two titles at stake. Stevi Levy (10-2) was set to challenge for the British title back in February, but the bout was changed after her opponent Ebonie Jones withdrew. Levy instead went on to capture the Silver European Super Bantamweight title.
Tysie Gallagher (7-2) enters as the reigning Commonwealth champion and former World title challenger. Gallagher challenged for the WBO world title last year, losing via Majority Decision to Segolene Lefebvre, who lost her title earlier this month against Ellie Scotney. Both her defeats came against world champions, with the other loss against current WBA champion Nina Hughes.
Former IBF Super Featherweight champion Tevin Farmer (33-5-1) returns against opposition TBA. Farmer held the title until a 2020 loss against Joseph Diaz. Farmer returned to the ring in 2023 following 3 years of inactivity, recording three victories. Farmer was withdrawn from the card and replaced by Tommy Welch vs Vaclav Pejsar.
Brazilian Igor Adiel Macedo (12-1) returns to the ring following his victory over British Heavyweight Jeamie TKV. Macedo stepped in as a late-notice replacement on the Wasserman Boxing show and left TKV with a nasty cut and first career loss. He competes in a South American clash against Argentinean Jonathan Exequiel Vergara (6-1).
