British Heavyweight Michael Webster to compete in 6 rounder in Middlesbrough

British Heavyweight Michael Webster will compete in Middlesborough on Saturday 20th April 2024 on a show promoted by Jamie Sheldon. The card takes place from the Eston Sports Academy.

Michael Webster (9-1) last fought against current English Heavyweight champion Solomon Dacres. Webster was featured on Queensberry’s Magnificent Seven show where he lost a tight Majority Decision to Dacres. The three judges scored the fight a draw and in favour of Dacres by 2 rounds and 3 rounds.

Webster is rebuilding from his first loss and will compete against Yury Bykhautsou (10-28-3) from Belarus.

Yury Bykhautsou hasn’t won since 2017, but has fought some respectable opposition including Robert Helenius on two occasions. Bykhautsou has only been stopped twice, the last time in 2012.

Also on the card unbeaten Jimmy Tyers (4-0) will face Tom Ramsden. Tom Summerbell (6-0) challenges Jensen Irving. Tom Hill (10-3) returns from his loss to Paddy Donovan in 2022 in a 6 round contest.
