Muhammad Ali wins via points 60-54. 6 round bout. Muhammad Ali is now 4-0.

Paddy Lacey vs Owen Kirk

Lacey wins via KO in round 1. Lacey moves to 10-0.

Eddie Hearn spoke briefly to fill some time with two bouts having ended early. Hearn confirmed Matchroom Boxing are unlikely to hold a show on 23 December 2023 if Usyk vs Fury takes place. Hearn said they are waiting for news of the bout and would not like to clash.

Campbell Hatton vs Jamie Sampson

Campbell Hatton wins via DQ in round 8. Sampson had 2 points deducted for holding in the previous rounds. With less than 1 minute left, referee Mark Lyson disqualified Sampson for excessive holding. Sampson had gassed during the second half of the contest, and was holding excessively, but it is disappointing the bout didn’t reach a full conclusion. Sampson caused Hatton a few problems early on, but with the point deductions Hatton would have taken the contest on the scorecards anyway. Campbell Hatton moves onto 14-0.

After the bout, Campbell Hatton spoke to DAZN. Hatton was annoyed at Sampson’s excessive holding, and Campbell Hatton said he is ready for 10 round contests and some kind of championship. Eddie Hearn said the opponent didn’t come to fight, and Campbell Hatton will need to improve in the future. Hearn thinks the experience will be useful to Hatton in the future.

Trainer Matthew Hatton also spoke to DAZN. Matthew Hatton expressed concerns about the opponent prior to the bout, as Sampson’s previous fight also included points deductions.

Gary Cully spoke about his upcoming contest on the undercard of Cameron vs Taylor 2, and then Before the Bell ended as the main portion of the card moved to DAZN.
