Area Champion Jimmy Joe Flint to compete for IBO title

Central Area champion Jimmy Joe Flint is set to challenge Kyle Boyd for the IBO Continental title in his next bout.

Jimmy-Joe Flint (14-1-2) is coming off victory over Campbell Hatton back in March. Flint picked up a Unanimous Decision victory over Hatton in Sheffield, inflicting the first defeat of his career. Flint now moves from Area title level onwards as he looks to climb the IBO rankings.

Flint will be challenging Scottish and Celtic champion Kyle Boyd (5-1) for the vacant IBO Continental Super Lightweight title. Boyd enters coming off two split decision victories in 2023, the vsat for the Celtic Super Lightweight title. He has one Points Decision loss on his record.

Flint vs Boyd will headline a card from Stefy Bull Promotions which is likely to air live on Facebook. Coverage is TBA. The show takes place on 29th June at Magna.

Elsewhere on the Triple Header card, Dom Hunt will challenge Ben Vaughan in a British Welterweight Title Eliminator. Joe Gardside vs Will Harrison also features for the Central Area Welterweight title.
